Hello Everyone, and welcome to Ms. Tetzlaff"s Second Grade class. This blog is to keep parents and students informed on the lessons and activities that are happenning in our classroom. First Week Of School!!!

Reading: Students will learn how to pick books in their reading level. They will also learn how to keep a reading log.

  *Reading Logs are Due Monday Aug. 25, 2014

Writing: Students will be writting about their summer vacaion and sharing with fellow students

  *"All About Me" homework packet will be Due Monday Aug. 25, 2014

Math: SRA Number Worlds! Lesson 1.1-1.4 Visualizing and Constructing Whole Numbers.
         
         Skill focus: Make 10 by combining two and three whole mumbers. Visualizing and represent two-digit numbers several different ways. Also lay the foundation for regrouping.

Parents we will begin science and social studies in two weeks. Have a great week!
